About This File

Hidden beneath The Throat of The World Is a long forgotten sanctuary, build for the Dragonborn. 

Find the key in Sky Haven Temple, and journey to The Cut Across the Throat to enter the sanctuary.  There you will find a complete smithy, apothecary, kitchen, and crafting center;  a library capable of holding every book in Skyrim; ancient Dragon Slayer armor and weapons; and clothing enchanted to make smithing and alchemy more effective.  Plenty of store safe chests, manikins, and weapon racks. 

Enjoy the courtyard with it's Shrine to Talos. 

In short, a home away from the stress of dealing with the drama of Skyrim. 

This mod was originally created by Unshod Cobbler. I have been given permission to maintain and update this mod as necessary. See the link below for the transfer of ownership.

What's New in Version 2.0.0

Released

Added the ingredients from the various CC Content to the Apothecary,  Added the new smithing items to the Foundry, too

Fixed some Navmesh issues with the Courtyard.

Added a few bells and whistles, including another entrance/exit.

Hi, I recently downloaded this mod and I cannot for the life of me find the sanctuary. I’ve gotten the key and been to the cut across the world and there’s nothing there. There’s a map marker called ‘sanctuary escape hatch’ further along near Ivarstead, however there’s no escape hatch or anything. What do I do?

Look at the local map.  There should be a door indicated at either location.  Avoid the Emergency Exit, it's a trap unless ... 

Also, make sure you download and activate the mod Dawnguard floor tile dintrcenter01 fix before entering the Sanctuary.

I've looked up and down the Cut Across the Throat and I can't find this place anywhere. I've used the local map and have only been able to find the entrance to the Cistrern. Please help.

If you are at the pass, you are at the entrance.  Look to the North and to the right of the trail.  It  is there. 

And make sure you download and activate the mod Dawnguard floor tile dintrcenter01 fix before entering the Sanctuary.

The first word in the description is "Hidden".  How do you resolve hidden?  You hunt, you seek, you search, you look, you scour and you explore.

Hey, I absolutely LOVE this mod, really well done and its one if the first I've ever downloaded. But there seems to be a problem with the weapons racks, it wont let me add any weapons I have on them even if I have the weapons equipped. Idk if  this an error on my part, hope you can help

Thank you for your kind words.  If you could tell me which weapon rack in which room, it would help?  Or  is it all of them?  A screenshot of the offending weapon rack would help.

Yes, it is all of the weapon's racks. I try to put weapons on them, but nothing has helped.

You are unique. as no there are no other reports of such a problem.  I know that doesn't help you though.  So on to problem isolation. 

I know you said "all" racks, but I have to ask.  Is it the wall mounted racks or standing racks, or both?

Right, sorry I should have specified. It is the standing racks. The wall racks work perfectly fine. I have deleted and reinstalled the mod and it doesn't help.

Okay, that tells me something.  If the wall plaques work, and the standing ones do not, I suspect that you have a mod somewhere which is interfering with the standing racks.   Why, because the wall plaques and the standing racks are set up identically.  

So, next step.  PC or console?

I am using PC, I do have a lot of weapon mods, so maybe its one of those? I'll look through my mods

Outstanding.  PC makes diagnosis much easier, better tools and services. 

Rather than searching through all your mods, I have an alternative. 

First, download and install LOOThttps://github.com/loot/loot/releases   

Then, use LOOT to establish an "optimized" load order and then test again.   The tool is fairly straight forward, and should you need help you can get help on their discord server: https://discord.gg/gZYTEhH

Or, you can join the AFKMods Discord (the link is on the home page) and ask questions there.  (That's where I go for help).

This condition is occurring because you did install the prerequisite mod documented in both the description and the Required Dependencies.
