One thing that every artifact collector loathes about the Dawnguard addon is that both versions of the questline have mutually exclusive artifacts, meaning that you will always be locked out of acquiring some unique items no matter which path you choose. No longer. This mod adds an extra quest to each side of the questline which will lead you to the artifacts that would have been lost forever in the vanilla game.

The Dawnguard version begins after completing Kindred Judgement and the side quest Bolstering the Ranks; you'll receive a letter from Isran requesting that you track down a vampire who escaped the raid on Castle Volkihar with a number of vampire artifacts. 

Artifacts unlocked by the Dawnguard epilogue:
-Ring of the Erudite
-Ring of the Beast
-Amulet of the Gargoyle
-Amulet of Bats
-Ancient Vampire Parts
-The Bloodstone Chalice

The Clan Volkihar version begins by reading a letter found on Isran during the side quest Destroying the Dawnguard.

Artifacts unlocked by the Clan Volkihar epilogue:
-Dawnguard Rune weapons
-Dwemer Crossbow Schematics and the ability to craft exploding bolts and enhanced crossbows.
-A number of undead-damaging spells that are exclusive to the Dawnguard merchants.

Contrary to what most people believe, this mod does, in fact, work with Legacy of the Dragonborn. Nothing from either will break if they are used together; you'll just end up with a few duplicates.

The Staff of Ruunvald is unobtainable if you side with the Volkihar Clan, the ruin it is in can only be entered with a Dawnguard faction quest.

Maybe im missing the obvious, but does obtaining the vampire items actually do anything? I have the bloodstone chalice and the ancient limbs, but can I turn them in at fort dawnguard or something to get them out my inventory and use the chalice power?

I'm also running lotd so unfortunately i have duplicates ...

Do you intend make available the "fort takeovers framework" and "realistic conquering"?

Mod works for the most part but the schematics seemed to have no effect. I am still unable to craft Dwarven bolts of any kind. I picked them up and later got a letter from Vingalmo about the schematics, but I'm still not able to craft them. Everything else seems to be working completely fine though!

You might want to update this mod because for some reason loot shows that it needs unoficcial skyrim patch for legendary edition instead of special edition.

wouldn't dark ally do something similar? or is that only to allow you to join the dawnguard as a vampire? and still talk with them when becoming a vampire lord after the quest?

you have to have the required smithing perk in this case dwarven (which if you have you should be able to craft regular dwarven bolts from the get go no quests required) and you can buy them from sorine anyway TECHNICALLY the mod is only needed for the runed items as you can buy the crossbow stuff in vanilla by using vampire seduction

the bloodstone chalice enhances vampiric drain allowing it to drain magicka and stamina along with health (for a limited time) ( harkons sword has the same effect except its an enchantment so as long as the sword has charge you will be draining health magicka and stamina invaluable for vampires (and the effect ONLY works for vampires))  and the amulets and rings give vampire lords special abilities much like the black books do for shouts (the effects will be listed on the rings and amulets) and the limbs enhance the chalice further increasing the duration from one day to 9 days when you complete the quest  (which means unless you are a vampire no they don't do anything) no i don't know if its actually possible to complete the quest as a dawnguard member as to gain the effects you have to turn the parts into feran Sadri unless the mod author has changed something and i believe he dies when you storm volkihar castle

For anyone stuck on the "Take the artifacts" stage, read the note (Escaped Vampire's Note, for the Dawnguard side) you find in the chest.

i can't craft dwemer cross bow while i can craft enchance version,
anyone have similar problem?

I got the bloodstone chalice and the ancient limbs after dawnguard main quest, but I can't place it in Castle Volkihar cause there is already one. So the chanlice is useless for me now, and I'm not sure what to do.
