Shor's Stone 2.0.7

About This File

An expansion for the village of Shor's Stone.

Shor's Stone always seemed like a place that had more potential than what was in the game, and as it turns out, that's because it does. NPCs talk about Odfel's wrecked house and the need to build a new one, but the wreckage doesn't exist. Grelka has some scenes with the other NPCs that can never play because she never comes to the town, and may well have originally been planned for there. Plus the place always seemed a bit empty, in need of somewhere for the folks to gather at night other than just the fireplace in front of Sylgja's house. Now, all of these things have been taken care of. Shor's Stone is no longer a backwater half-village.

* Grelka now has a home at the south end of town. She will travel between there and Riften by horse at the appropriate times.
* The Tapped Vein, the inn, where folks gather for the town's evening meal. A subtle tribute to Elder Scrolls Online and the village's past association with Ebony mining.
* Inn has a properly working innkeeper, server, and bard.
* Odfel's wrecked house now exists on the north side of town. So sad.
* LOD has been generated for the area, including trees that account for the changes.

Requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch to be installed first!

When I download this and install via Vortex, it shows as being version 1.0.0, instead of 2.0.5, and having been downloaded from Nexus, despite having been downloaded from here. Is this the current updated version or the original Nexus version? None of your other mods I've downloaded from here have had this issue. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

That's a Vortex issue. Vortex will assume anything you download came from Nexus. It's hardcoded. They need to fix that.

Sorry for the confusion, it's just as I said, none of your other files downloaded from here responded in that way. They all just came up as blank on pretty much every field; no version, no source, and no category. I believe I downloaded about 15 or so files in total from here, just found it curious that this one specific instance reacted in that way. I'm super new to modding, so apolgies for any ignorance on my part.

Hello Arthmoor, recently after installing this mod I noticed Grelka was missing from Riften during the time she would stay at her shop then I checked Shor's Stone and noticed she only stays there all day, either inside her house or outside standing at the porch or using the crafting bench nearby, shouldnt she go to Riften during work time and then at night return to Shor's Stone? She still offers training services but wont buy/sell anything due to the lack fo the dialogue. Hope you can look into this.

Hello
Are your mods no longer compatible with Special Edition ? I mean is Anniversary Edition a requirement ?
Sorry if the answer to my question is obvious, I could not find where this is stated.
I ask because in some of your mods, description goes about Fish, etc..

In case AE is required, may I ask if you kept the SSE versions in another place or website ?
On the Nexus, most of the mods are meant for SSE and for some of them, both versions are available.
All your mods are top quality but going for AE would imply to remove a lot of the mods I use.

So I was just willing to know.
Thank you.

Anniversary Edition IS Special Edition. It's simply the latest version of SSE. Arthmoor only supports the latest version (SE 1.6.342) of the game with his mods.

Hi
I don't want to start arguing on words...
Still on Steam web site, you can read:

Quote
What is the Skyrim Anniversary Edition?

The Skyrim Anniversary Edition bundles together Skyrim Special Edition with every piece of Creation Club content released at the time of the Anniversary Edition’s launch

So, SSE and AE are something else: AE = SSE + some "new" content + fixes.
And you will never hear again of SSE, it was replaced with AE.

Anyway, you answered my question, thank you for that :)

And happy new year

I assume Arthmoor was having a bad day when working on this update but I have to say I got a chuckle out of the "version number" being titled: 1.whogivesaf*ck

Thanks man, I love all these little additions my favorites being Soljund's Sinkhole and Oakwood.

The guy in the inn is invisible, I can hear his voice but he cannot be seen.
