  1. Modding Skyrim SE on Linux - A Headache Minimization Guide

Modding Skyrim SE on Linux - A Headache Minimization Guide
This is an extremely detailed guide to modding Skyrim SE on Linux. The guide is 60 pages long with step-by-step instructions, commands, and pictures detailing the process to set up the modding environment for SSE on Linux from start to finish.
Modding Skyrim SE on Steam Deck
My guide is specifically for Linux PC users, but you still might find some help for Steam Deck. I don't have a Steam Deck to test or help with. Thankfully, omnipherous has written a series of guides for Steam Deck and Wabbajack users on Linux here: https://github.com/Omni-guides/Wabbajack-Modlist-Linux/wiki
In this guide you will learn:
how to install Steam's Proton and SSE for the MO2 Linux Installer how to install and use Wine, Winetricks, Protontricks, Mod Organizer 2 on Linux for modding SSE how to install two major Windows dependencies, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2022 and .Net 7, which are necessary for many mods and modding programs to run on Linux how to install ENB on Linux basic debugging help, Linux tips, and other various tips Once you complete the guide:
You will be able to install and use almost any mod that has mesh replacers, texture replacers, BSAs, SKSE DLLs, ESP/ESPFE/ESL/ESM, scripts, audio, and more You will be able to install and use almost any mod or modding program that requires Windows dependencies like DynDOLOD, TexGen, LOOT, CAO, xEdit, Bodyslide and Outfit Studio, Creation Kit, Nifskope, Wrye Bash, zEdit, and more You will be able to use common programs used for modding Skyrim assets on Linux like Gimp, Blender with the Pynifly Blender Export, and more You will hopefully be able to get ENB working, but ENB is a special scenario and might be difficult to set up depending on your situation I originally had SSE on Linux with ENB and a mod list of over 3000+ mods on Linux Mint. Later, I had the same load order and more with ENB running on Ubuntu. While setting up my modding environment on Ubuntu, I took detailed notes in order to create this guide. All of the mods, tools, and programs listed in the guide I have used personally during my time modding and playing Skyrim SE. Currently, I have over 2000+ hours modding Skyrim SE specifically on Linux.

  2. PrgLnch

    What does it do?
In other words, a completely unessential, but portable utility for launching programs singly, or in tandem, or not at all!
Requirements: Windows- (XP and up that can run 64 bit code)
    Status: Beta Release.
    Handle downloaded file:
(The signed PrgLnch code will not preclude a few Defender and SmartScreen warnings.
Those can be changed or muted according to the option list selection atop the Apps & Features section in Windows Settings.)
    What to do?
Check that the monitors for use use are connected to the desktop. Copy the file into a folder of choice, (if the package is zipped,
extract exe) then launch PrgLnch. It creates an ini file if one is not present, else most extant ini files from 1.X are compatible.
To get started with Bethesda game mods now, see below.
Click Prg Config, and choose an empty slot on the top left to add or drag in desired program (Prg), checking options
for the Prg such as resolution, options for resolution, priority, command line parameters and the rest.
Use the button (question mark at top right of dialog) for context help, also refer to "Getting Started" section in Help.

What's Old and New in Version Releases? (current: 3.0 Beta)
    Notes for Bethesda Game Modders:

Most players of Bethesda games are passing chuffed with the popular mod launchers for executables- PrgLnch offers
creators and designers more flexibility in mod accessibility, functionality, and interaction in a busy environment:
Dedicated LnchPad Slots for each game Batch Presets for specific tasks Power Plans in Batch Runs Multi Monitor Support Much more What PrgLnch isn't:
A plugin manager for TES games (mod managers handle that) A program installer (doesn't download or install 3rd party programs from the internet) A program analyser (doesn't debug programs or provide crash dump info)
    Get Started:
Click "LnchPad Setup" button on the right of the PrgLnch batch dialog. This extracts the LnchPadInit.exe file
to the current directory,  so Windows Defender may offer a tray tip with something like "scanning for 10 seconds":
    Start the search!

This is still in Beta, so please post anything that doesn't seem right to you!
The mods have to be already installed on the rig before PrgLnch can use them. Extra LnchPad Slots can be setup to run for executable mods with command line options e.g. XEdit or Wrye Bash. As opposed to running a combination of game mods by themselves, it's not recommended to launch the actual games (or script extender launchers) in a Batch Preset along with other Prgs, unless the game itself is the last to launch in the batch. A Batch Preset with just the game by itself, or its extender launcher is also a good option, with astute regard to the launch settings in the PrgLnch Options. The 12 mods for each game were chosen mainly on (alleged) popularity and usability. As the choice was subjective, suggestions to the inclusion of alternative LnchPad Slots are very welcome. The decision to choose either Vortex or MO2: Chose MO2 because at the time it was subjectively assumed it was more likely to benefit from PrgLnch than Vortex.
Edit: Apologies- as the Update Mod Version section cannot be edited- a slightly improved quality on the youtube videos at the end of the submission follows here:
The two monitor rig where Skyrim files are located:

The three monitor rig with Oblivion files:

  3. Titan Quest - Assorted Items Added to your Transfer Inventory

NOTE - Updates are below the original description.
OVERVIEW - Replaces the current inventory that you have in your Transfer screen with other items.
    INSTRUCTIONS -
    1. Get out of the game (There is a method for being in the game and switching inventories but for beginner users of this type of mod, it is best to get completely out of the game).
2.. Make a back-up of your "winsys.dxb" & "winsys.dxg" files (typically located at C:\users\[your name]\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Sys). This is your current transfer inventory (that, presumably, you don't want erased).
    3. Add the "winsys.dxb" & "winsys.dxg" files from this archive here to the same location.
    4. Start the game and access the Transfer Inventory screen. Familiar players may then utilize the items as need be.
TO UNINSTALL - Simply reverse the instructions (Get out of the game, delete the two files and copy back in your original files and re-start the game).
    NOTES -
    1. This mod should work on TQ Anniversary Edition 2.10.21415. It includes items from all DLCs except for Eternal Embers.
    2. Items should be yellow-level (magical) and above. Some white-level and below items may have accidentally slipped in but I have tried to be careful.
    3. This mod should work for others but, if it does not, I will erase it. I have learned that these files may not be compatible with game versions older than 2.10.21415.
    >>> UPDATE LOG <<<
2023-07-29 UPDATE - Just a regular update with more items.
2023-07-17 UPDATE - Now with plenty more items and a more sophisticated sorting structure. All items should be yellow (magical) and above. Temporarily, all Beastcaller rings are sorted out from the other rings.

I am the original creator, JayCrane, but I am no longer a modder. This file is released as is, and will not receive updates. You are free to use, modify, and reupload as long as credits are given.
This plugin adds the Yato Shrine from the series, Noragami: Stray God as decor.
This is a remake of my previous plugin, featuring a completely new model and set of textures. The Shrine can be found and obtained in the MISC section of DECORATIONS for free.
