Unofficial Oblivion Remastered Patch: Version History
By Quarn, Kivan, Arthmoor, PrinceShroob, and Sigurð Stormhand
Bugs introduced by the UORP (yes, it happens) that are corrected in later versions will be stricken through and tagged with the version of the UORP that fixes them. The correction will appear separately in the version where the correction takes place.
The UORP bug tracker numbers will be listed for bugs that have been recorded there when they are solved.
All fixes are retroactive unless indicated by an [NR] tag following the fix description.
Bugs fixed based on UESP reports that don't have corresponding tracker entries will have a link to the UESP page where the bug was reported.

v1.0.1 (2025-04-29)
UORP Fixes
- Removed the fix for M'raaj-Dar's vendor chest in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary as adding the second chest needed by the fix causes the game to crash.
- Removed the fix for Chokeberries in the Vile Lair because the necessary solution for fixing them causes the game to crash.
- Removed the fix for Enilroth's merchant chest as it required adding a new reference to the cell which causes the game to crash.
- Removed map markers for "Anvil Docks", "Dunbarrow Cove", and "Vanua" as they do not work due to not having string table entries on the Unreal Engine side of things.
v1.0.0 (2025-04-29)
Initial Release
- Merged all relevant fixes from the previous UOP, USIP, and UODP. This covers all of the base game content provided by the remaster.
- All placed reference edits to X/Y/Z coordinates have been removed due to changes in assets invalidating position data. Ownership and other settings such as missing keys have been retained. Anything which may end up needing this kind of edit should be reported to the bug tracker.
- All scripts have been reconciled with fixes provided by the base game.
- All edits to NPCs which would change facegen from their defaults have been reverted to what the remaster has set. NPCs now require external facegen for use in Unreal Engine, similar to how Skyrim and beyond require external facegen files.
- All resource files such as meshes, textures, sounds, and voice recordings have been dropped. Virtuos rebuilt every asset in the game from scratch so these fixes would no longer be required.
- All other previously edited records have been combed through to adjust for any fixes made by Virtuos, and to remove anything that's no longer required because of a developer fix.
- The resulting patch still retains hundreds of fixes from the original game that the developers did not address.
